YOUTH
SUNDAY STRIKES!
Youth Sunday will
be held on November 19th, which is also our Thanksgiving Sunday, something
Sherrill is very thankful for!
The youth have been
working on this service for SIX weeks and will be doing both services. Elders, as you cook Thanksgiving dinner for
the entire congregation, remember(!) our sermons are shorter than Terry's, so
you'll have to hurry!
The theme this year
is 1 Timothy 4:12. Join us and watch the
youth's example!
Sherrill Morris, Youth Director

You are invited to
join us for a cornucopia of food and fellowship after the service on Sunday,
November 19th. The elders will be
providing two turkeys, a ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and rolls. Please bring a desert or a side dish to
share. Also, please bring a plate and
silverware so that we can avoid having to use disposable tableware. Let's give thanks for potlucks!

WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER

THANKING VOLUNTEERS…
A HUGE thank you goes out to all the parents of youth group who have helped out so far this year. They have been the basis of an awesome youth program! They have ridden go carts, gone to a corn maze, hosted parties and such things. Hey, that sounds like fun! If you would like to share in the fun, just let Sherrill know. It's great for the kids to feel supported by all the members of the congregation as well as their parents! And again, THANKS!
Sherrill Morris,
Youth Director
THANK YOU!
A very
special thank you to all the people from our church who attended the Colorado
Christian Home Annual Denver Dinner on Friday, October 27th, at the new
Convention Center. At the gala event
approximately $470,000 was raised. The
contributions of those who attended plus those from members who contributed but
were unable to attend were greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Milton and Carol Ashmore

WELCOME NEW FAMILY!
On Sunday, October 29th we welcomed a new family into our church family. Kristy and Jeff Austin came forward at the end of our worship service to place their membership with FCC. With them were their children: son Corey Skanes (5th grade) and daughter Cameron Skanes (3rd grade). Please help to make this wonderful family feel at home with us.
